I paid $700 for Gina, and couldn't be happier, she's in perfect health, and very smart. I think that the cost of a pet quality Yorkie depends on what part of the country you are from. Greed also plays a part in the price when you get them from a puppy mill, or a back yard breeder, although I think there is a scale for the byb, between the breeders and puppy mills. My breeder would fall under the BYB for a lot of people's point of view, but as far as I'm concerned she's a very good breeder, my only wish is that she kept the puppies and mom together for 12 weeks instead of 8, that's the only part I wasn't really happy with. I know some will attack my post, because of the very things that I pointed out, 8 weeks instead of 12, but I met the woman and her husband, and the mom, inside of their house, and I was impressed with them and the quality of Yorkies they are producing.
