You can always start w/a longer blade, like the #3 3/4F/FC, then work your way down to the desired length. That way, you won't feel like you clipped off a chunk of hair or if you made a mistake, you can always fix it. Practice makes perfect, go slow. You can even just run the clipper down their back & leave a 'skirt'. As you get better, you can clip your own hair style.

I've never ever taken mine to the groomers and after seeing some of these grooming videos and hearing of people horror stories after leaving the groomers, I know why! I've always done it myself and with four now it saves me tons of money and if I dont like it I've got no one to blame but myself. |
