I am so glad everything worked out and you are able to go get him a lot sooner than expected. I am sure it's been a difficult few days trying to process everything and figure out what's best for all involved. I'll pray that everything goes smooth for you!!

If the caretakers don't drop Yoshi off at the vets and you feel like they are going to try to pull something, please don't hesitate to get a police escort to go over there with you. I am sure they were nice when they thought you were going to leave Yoshi with them, but who knows how they will be when you come to get him.

Please don't let the daughter make you feel guilty about wanting to take your pup back!! If they would have done the RIGHT thing and took Yoshi to a vets back when they found him months ago, they wouldn't have had all that time to get attached to him. I am excited to hear about future adventures of Yoshi!!

Thank you, BTW, for posting about Yoshi being lost and then found. I have 2 of my 3 pets microchipped and I've been meaning to microchip my last little one but have been dragging my feet on it. This post has been a good reminder to me of why it's so important to chip these guys. If anyone else hasn't chipped their pets, maybe they will read this and decide to do it!!
