Looking at Mary's profile and pics in Yoshi's album, I assume he was born in 2007, he went missing 2/20/09, so he was with her for about a year and a half, then for almost 5 years nobody knows. We can't tell if he was happy or not, or if he is content and well cared for at his present temp home. Who knows if he'd be happier in Mary's home now with 6 other Yorkies, and Mary working. Maybe he has been an only dog for 5 years, and likes it. Mary has gone thru a lot in losing her job and home, and it's not up to us to judge if she is able to take on a 7th dog. I don't feel that she doesn't love him, but can understand that she also wants the best for HIM, regardless of her feelings.
I wish he could end up with Yorkie Haven Rescue, to be vetted and evaluated, and for Yoshi to end up in the best possible long term situation.
Just trying to see the big picture here. | This is why I offered to take him. She may not be in a position to take him now and honestly that would not be good for him either. I have messaged Mary and if she wants help, I am more than happy to see what I can do to help her and Yoshi. |
