I would suggest seeing a specialist a reproduction specialist to ask this question of, as well she/he can examine your dog, and give a much better informed opinion.
How-ever it is my understanding that at times the inversion of the vagina/vulva can correct itself after the first heat cycle. Sometimes nature provides its' own cure
The specialist can also educate you on how to recognize the signs of heat, and what special care you need to take to insure no mating happens.
