My little Merry Piper (almost 18 weeks) has developed a clicking or popping sound in her hips at times--I've noticed it when I pick her up or several times when I put her jammies on.
She had a bad reaction to a recent vaccination in her hip, but there's no swelling anymore. Could this be a more serious problem? I emailed her breeder, but she had "never heard of it" (<--not sure how much I believe that, but okay).
I've only had larger dogs in the past, so I'm more familiar with problems that affect other breeds. And, fortunately, I never experienced hip problems with any of them.
