It's so true, how the people who bother us the most are usually the ones who remind of us something in ourselves, or some way that we used to be at one time. You're right, it's so revealing that it's kinda scary! Whenever someone rubs me the wrong way, I think "look in the (literal/figurative) mirror" - and I always learn something.
So true about Carol and her earlier indecisiveness...she can no longer tolerate it / deal with it bc of her anger at her past. I think it's stuff like this that has me so hooked on this show - it's so psychologically fascinating! And you know how that always reels me in
