Does your husband realize that dogs are hunters??? Yorkies were bred to chase varmints.
It's an old wives tail about a dog becoming aggressive after tasting blood. Your female may have other behavioral issues, but the taste of blood has nothing to do with it.( dogs lick themselves when injured, so that right there shows how absurd your husbands claims are)
P.s. We have a hunting dog that retrieves dove- shot by a gun, with blood on them. He carries them in his mouth-and often gets blood in his mouth. He has not turned into a murderous animal.
