This is what I have found to help me. I secluded a small section (my smallest room-guest bathroom) for feeding, potty & den (crate) & comfy bed. I always leave the door open. He never gets locked in crate. He has the room to his self. I 1st & foremost have him on a slight schedule. Wake up. Potty. Eat. Potty. Play. Potty. Relax. Potty. Nap. Potty. Etc. So basically I keep him in sight 100% or he goes to his room. After every activity I take to potty break. Telling him GO POTTY has helped. As he is taking less time gradually to fiddle. If he doesn't need to go. I remain mindful and try again after about 20minutes. When he goes potty on pad. I praise him like he won the olympics. I say good potty. Give treat. A treat in which is exclusive to training. So it can't be something that isn't very well favored. I use pet botanic puppy dha logs. Cut them in tiny pieces & store in Tupper Ware container. When he potties where your not wanting. I wouldn't make a big deal at all. Just clean up with an enzyme cleaner I believe it's called. To prevent remarking. Patience && consistency is key. Good Luck.! && DO NOT GIVE UP!
