Are there different kinds of dentals??
Both of my boys are due for their dentals...well, my older male is overdue. Per vet recommendation, we have held off because Princeton has been having health problems...but I am going to talk to the vet again about getting it done
I am wondering if there are certain dentals that are more safe than others?? I am also wondering whats the avg cost of a dental. Princetons last dental cost $200 and that included extractions. I called a different vet 2 days ago to get a quote on a teeth cleaning for Ricky and they quoted me $300 to $1000.
Since Princeton has cardiac issues, it's a double edged sword. He needs a dental because dirty teeth can exacerbate his heart problem....yet, he's at a bigger risk for being put under because he's a senior dog with heart problems. |
