I have found that no matter what products you use, they don't take the place of a dental by the vet. I recently took one of mine to a specialist for a dental because he is very old and has collapsing trachea....she highly recommends Ora Vet. It has to be applied initially by the vet after the dental and then you apply it weekly. So far, his teeth look amazing and that is two months out where in the past in two months his teeth were already getting heavy tartar. She also recommends CET oral hygeine rinse. And, brushing at a minimum of 3 times/week.
