From about 6 months to a year, he was always a steady 12lbs. Then all the sudden, I remember we had a vet visit around 1 1/2 years old maybe, and the scale read nearly 16lbs. I thought there was NO way. Tried another scale, same thing. So odd... because his harnesses all still fit, and such, and he was always in good shape so I know he wasn't over-weight. I think a lot of his was muscle and still just filling out.

By 2 1/2, the scale was reading 17.5lbs. And that's about where he stays. So heres my almost 18lb Mr Muscle man Yorkie at nearly 5yrs old!!!
Oh my...he is so cute...I guess everyone is just so used to seeing the little ones and around here we have a ton of really bad back yard greeders breeding 3 lbs and under and I think that the general public are starting to think they should be tiny dogs.
