Thanks Deb. I know he isn't overweight at this point as he is almost 16 inches neck to tail. He is just a big boy. I, like so many others on here bought him from a byb without being very knowledgeable about the breed before coming here. Not sure why I did that as I purchased my first dog from a show breeder who is still breeding champions 30 years later. I do know that Wallee's mom is IBC as he was adopted up the street from me and the people have all her papers showing her lines from Germany. I was also told that his father had papers but know the breeder sold him shortly after I bought Wallee as she stopped breeding Biewers. Wallee's birth caused his mom a C section and that was the end of her breeding days. Somewhere down the line he has a larger relative, just not his parents. I still am happy with him as I did want a little larger yorkie due to having 4 large cats in the house but wow....when I walk him I always get "he sure doesn't look like a yorkie". I think the combination of Biewer markings and his size makes my saying he is yorkie unbelievable to many who have never heard of them.
