I did look at a couple of posts regarding this issue, but wanted to start a new thread anyway.
I got my best little pal when he was around 3 or 4 years. His teeth had never been brushed. I was twenty years old and had very little money but saved up the $500 or so to get them laser cleaned. They were still bad (I think I had higher hopes than what reality allows for). ANYWAY, my question now is.. are there any secret tips that I'm unaware of for a dog who doesn't like all those teeth cleaning treats and bones? The little punk! (totally kidding) Occasionally he will have a Greenie -- I know there are mixed feelings about these and ideally he wouldn't have them, but are they better than nothing? Be honest! -- Sometimes he will have raw carrots which I read can help. Do bully sticks help clean teeth? He LOVES those.
Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated. I am glad to be here because the amount of love I have for my dog is clearly understood by you all!
