Absolutely! I have both an intact male and female of different breeds. My female has gone through 2 heat cycles (1 being with the male in the home). I know I have to be extra diligent with keeping them seperated during those times and keeping my eye on her when outside too. I understand some owners don't want to have to deal with the hassle of intact females(blood etc) also the marking/humping of males(even though neutering doesn't always absolve these problems). Do what's best for your pet as you would with your human child. Just as in child rearing, opinions will differ but every parent/pet owner has best interests at heart(hopefully it
