I agree with Jenny. We also tend to pick grain-free foods but I have no problems feeding those that contain rice. I feed Toki a lot of TikiDog which is pretty low in grains but has a small amount of brown rice in it...it does not concern me at all. I, myself, still eat tons of rice even knowing what I do about the arsenic.

I spend a lot of time looking into the food that I feed my pups...there are so many other ingredients that I try to focus on avoiding and other factors that I'm more concerned about (I'm not saying that arsenic in rice is not a legitimate concern but it is just not on MY radar personally, since I don't feed too many foods that contain grains, let alone rice but I wouldn't have a problem regularly rotating a food that contained it). It is something to think about... I'd definitely be interested in seeing more definitive research done and long term studies on the effects.
