You should always talk to your vet before giving your dog medicine especially it they are on any medicines but lots of people here have given benadryl and my vet has suggested it when my moms yorkie kept rubbing his face. People sometimes give it for itching, allergies, and some give it to kept there dog calm but it just makes mine hyper lol.
