Gina is around a lb bigger, but my vet was ready to spay her as soon as she reached 2lbs, I wasn't ready at that small. My vet has small breed dogs herself, and many small breed dogs as patients, she is great about doing the full CBC blood workup, and using just the right amount of anesthesia. Check with your vet to see how much experience with small breeds they have, and if not much, see if they will recommend one who does. Good luck and best wishes.
