Missy is already getting used to hubby - he is VERY good with animals (we actually do rehab for orphaned baby squirrels for the local wildlife place here and have raised and released around 70!) - so he has started playing with her at her level. She definitely prefers ME(!) but she is warming up to him a little more each day...

Next issue is Missy hasn't eaten for the past couple of days since we got her. We brought her own food and bowl but she is totally NOT interested. It looks like she'd been eating Purina Puppy chow. Should I be concerned yet or will she eat when she's ready? She is playful, acts happy (not mopey) and is drinking water and grooming herself... I even tried hand feeding her some of it to see if she'd eat but nope.

I was wondering about giving her a teeny piece of cheese or something just to see if I can get her interested...? Or should we get a totally different dry food and maybe the fact it's something different would help? No clue what kinds are good since its been so long since we've had a doggie! Do you ever give them canned food or just dry?
