I changed her food Monday about lunch time when I brought her home from the vet. She sleeps quite a bit right now, but she is pretty alert when up. For instance, she tries to drag me on the leash when I take her out back to use the bathroom. Her first poop since the spay was last night and she was struggling a bit to get it out. I didn't see the color because it was dark. She took another poop this afternoon that was a normal brown color and came out pretty easily. Then the one she took about an hour ago was dark and looked like it was a little harder to push out than the one earlier in the day, but not difficult like the one last night.
For the food I really trust my breeder's recommendation of Royal Canin, and she is so healthy and energetic on that diet, plus her coat is so awesome right after brushing (of course she becomes a hot mess 5 minutes later when she goes and rolls in the grass lol).
