I'm glad her deformity is not too bad. You might want to look into supplements that will help strengthen her connective tissue. Glucosamine and MSM are a couple of supplements that have been found to help support connective tissues. The Omega3's are also helpful.

When you have a joint deformity the surrounding connective tissues are very important in helping to support the weakened joint. As the animal (or human) ages and connective tissues wear out the joint issues become more pronounced and painful. Keeping those tissues strong and healthy for as long as possible is really important.

Read all you can about supplements and always give a small amount at first to make sure your pet does not have any allergic response to it. Supplements that come from real healthy food sources are always the best quality and more easily absorbed into the pet's body.
