Before I found this site, my thinking was "I don't want a dog to put bows in her hair and walk around a ring; I want a dog to run around with and throw the ball to. So why would I want to go to a show breeder just to get a pretty dog"? And then I learned about the health testing, the guarantees, the conditions good quality show breeders raise their pups in versus craigslist sellers and pet shops, and so on, and now when people ask I always tell them there are huge benefits to going to a quality show breeder for your pet.
