Bitsy, they are so cute when they are learning! Toto was so awful when we would first try the little harness on her, she would just drop to the floor and stay plastered there like she couldn't move! She was just terrified of it and we couldn't do anything to get her to stand up! It was so bad my husband found a trainer ... he had her trotting up and down the driveway the first session!! He also taught us how to lead her ... she is always on the left and if she gets distracted we just quietly tell her "stay with me"! I don't know if it's the sound of our voice that keeps her "in line" but it works! Being accustomed to walking on our left is much easier than meandering back and forth too! Little Sophia will be zipping along on her leash before you know it!!
