Dawn you owe me an apology, never ONCE did I suggest a dog napping plan. I offered several viable options based on the OP seeing a dog lying in the street and not 100% sure who the dog belonged to. I made it clear if she did pick up the dog to let the authorities know and have it scanned for a chip. How you could get dog napping from that is beyond me, but I find it insulting
