It doesn't actually say where the Heartgard must be obtained.
Actually, reading it again.....looks like the left side is 1800petmeds saying they will reimburse $500 if you purchase from them...."no hassle" the right side is what the mfg requires (the stuff I wrote early in this post). Of course, I ordered from foster&smith, so who knows.
No idea of the cost of the treatment and whether $500 is close to covering it.
I do know some people don't give it over the winter (the 9 month rule for coverage) so they would lose out. I give it all year because my little girl 1) loves it! 2) rolls around in the grass with her boyfriend and you never know when the firs mosquito will show up.
