 Sick older dog
My friend just called with a problem with her Chihuahua. I know this is a Yorkie group but she needs help.
Brief description is her Pookie had a dental with several teeth having to be removed. He is 13 years old but except for this is in great health.
He is having what the vet calls seizures but has not had this happen at the vet's office only once but is having them all the time at home. She says this dog is not having the normal seizure but is basically rubbing it's face and nose no falling down or loss of conciseness. They live in Elgin Texas. Is there a teaching hospital there or near them. (near Austin)She is real upset they were told they need a MRI done or to put him down. Hope someone can help her here....It's so hard when our furbabies get sick or has problems. Lynne |
