Yeah, the toothbrush takes a while before they like it. Cookie would just try to lick her beef toothpaste off the brush at first, but she got used to it. The trick is to lift her lip up to get to the outside to minimize time the brush is stuck into her mouth (which is of course a necessity to get the inside).
