This is put on by the American Black Russian Terrier Association. It is a fund raiser for research into JLPP. A genetic disease with a 100% mortality rate.
It is for a good cause, and for dog show enthusiasts you could win a trip for two to Helsinki for the World dog Show in August next year.

The tickets are pretty pricey for $100 each but only 250 tickets will be sold, so you have a 1 in 250 chance of being a winner! What our club in Canada is doing is going together to purchase a couple of tickets, then we will have our own draw at our AGM in December should one of our tickets win.
You could go together with a friend or a small group of folks and do a similar thing.
