Thanks to everyone for your posts. Luci's bile acid test came back abnormal. The vet believes she either has microvascular dysplasia or liver shunt. He thinks it's microvascular dysplasia, which means the blood doesn't flow properly to the liver. With diet management and vitamin k, she should live a normal life span. She has been put on a prescription dog food (LD Diet - liver diet) and has to go for an ultrasound tomorrow of her liver to determine what specifically is wrong.
