I know that it is not good for our little ones to jump from high places, but my little 3 lb. Bella is NUTS! She can jump up onto my bed (which is a california king and very high) and she jumps down just as easily. There is carpet in the room, but I still feel that it is not good for her. I have even made a ramp but she will not use it...she would rather jump. It is impossible to stop her because she will hear a little noise and jump without a moments notice (she is just so quick). Yesterday while my husband was playing with her and Louie she decided that it would be a short cut to chase after the toy if she jumped up onto the couch and then up onto the back of the couch and she literally flew off onto the hardwood floor.....and then just kept running like it did not bother her in the least. Im so afraid that she is going to get hurt or that she will have problems with her legs in the future.

Does anyone elses babies do this? and if so how do you stop them from possibly hurting themselves? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic that gives you an idea of how high the back of my couch is to the floor. she likes to lay up there and I am constantly taking her down.
