I no longer use hard chews for my dogs & since they're older, I don't want to risk them breaking their teeth either. I guess it all comes down to supervision & good judgement. But once in awhile, I would like to give them something to chew on to help clean their teeth. They get Beams from the honest kitchen...seems like I'll be looking into the Naked chews. Which do you give Callie?
Sometimes she has tummy issues so I normally give her the get naked digestive health ones and they never upset her tummy. I have never heard of the beams from Honest Kitchen next time I go to our local pet store I think I will see if they have them. Callie loves to chew on thins (not like bad things but things that she is supposed to lol). When I took her bully sticks away after the one broke her tooth the normal times she would be chewing her stick she would cry for it I felt so bad.
