Technically, a dog can break a tooth on kibble if they bite down in a weird way, or any other hard item, or even running into something or something running into them. It's good to post awareness and info regarding food/chews/treats but saying "they will break teeth" is slightly inaccurate.
I won't do Greenies, don't really trust them. I tried CET chews but he hated the veggie ones and would just walk around whining with the rawhide-type ones. I don't do antlerz (way too hard, imo, and he doesn't like them anyway). He is not big on Himalayan chews. He won't chew Nylabones.
About the only thing he even enjoys or likes is bully sticks, Get Naked chews or Dentastix. It's rare that we buy bully's anymore - I got him some interactive toys and use Kongs filled up to keep him occupied more now (it's WAY cheaper). I do buy Dentastix (yes, they're Pedigree) but meh, no ill effects and he likes them a lot. They do make his breath smell fresher too. It's more of a treat though, vs. a chew because he eats it in less than 60 seconds. lol | Well let's not get catty and pick on the words people use. I have heard many stories of them breaking teeth and no maybe they won't break her dogs teeth but they WILL break some dogs teeth so in fact they will break teeth.
