My little yorkie, Savannah, has little brown patches on her skin here and there and she is scratching a lot - especially around her ears, under her neck and behind her front legs. I bathe her with prescription shampoo and put prescription 'leave on lotion' afterward. I make her dogfood - turkey with oatmeal and a healthy powder mix from health food store products as well as vitamin drops. I dehydrate her treats which I make from turkey breast and ground turkey. She also eats dry 'Wellness" grain-free food which I leave out in a bowl. I removed all beef from her diet and then all chicken. She's still itchy. I tried fish oil but it caused diarrhea. I hate to see her so miserable especially when she wakes up at night scratching. I brush her gently when she starts and it gives her great relief. Any suggestions?
