while table food is not the best, if your dog does not have any problems it should be ok in small amounts and of course it depends on what your definition of table scraps are. We tend to eat fairly plain, not much in the way of sauces and marinades and nothing overloaded with onions and hot spices. This morning she had some eggs and a tiny piece of bacon, yesterday she had some of my low sodium turkey, tonight we will be having salmon and she will definitely have some of that. She enjoys crab legs and shrimp when we have it. And when I make my various chicken dishes I make a small plain piece for her. I guess most of our table scraps can be found in dog food anyway. But she does not have stomach issues or a weight issue. I really think this question has more than one answer, and there are two keys, know youy dog and all things in moderation
