The doctors say they don't really know why she is not eating. Yes she is getting the electrolytes in the IV fluid but in spite of this her potassium and sodium have not gotten any better. She would not eat the food i brought in tonight but did eat about a tablespoon of pureed gerber baby food sweet potato from me. Every now and then it looks like she hiccups, or does something like a hiccup, and then jerks her head. Otherwise, she is very limp, very lethargic, but not squeaking in pain or discomfort like she did yesterday. The doctors feel that she is feeling better once they drained out the liquid in her stomach. Her lungs look very good, almost normal, but the doctor did mention something about her kidney values. Darn, I forgot to ask that when I was in. Just thought of it now after reading your post. Must call and follow up on this. Thanks, Kathy
