Blot a small amount of her urine with a paper towel, and then pick up a piece of fecal material in it as well. Just roll it up where you can handle it without getting yourself soiled, then...

Get everything de-scented/washed...her, her blanket, the Cage...everything.

Set the Cage back up, with the Potty Pad at the rear, and lay the rolled up Paper Towel at the very back of the Cage. Given how large you say the Cage is, I'd allow 2/3rds of it for the Pad.

This way, she shouldn't make a mistake because of the distributed scent.
Maybe this will work ?
