That is just terrible! It sounds so painful and scary and totally debilitating. You poor thing. Is there another firefighter's wife who could stay with you for a day or two when your husband is on duty? Or a nurse's aide or something? It sounds like you are really going to need some help for a bit with all those injuries and stitches in that hand. I hope the doctor gave you pain medicine! I'm so sorry this happened to you and couldn't help but smile when I read that, typically, the Yorkie was the first thing you worried about right after your awful fall!
