I do it at the end of every day after I take him out the last time to "do his business" and after his last meal. It's just for cleanly purposes since he never smells
bad. I haven't had any poop "stick" to him as of yet lol. At the end of each night I put on a glove, put vaseline on a fingertip, and put it around his anus(sounds gross but no danglies so far and we're going for a full coat).
