I always assumed the tear stains were because they had hair in their eyes. With my older male, I use the clippers and trim right underneath the eyes and that's helped some. He will sit still for me though. My little guy....there's no way I am putting clippers or scissors near there. He is too squirmy and he's constantly got hair in his eyes right now bc it's growing out. I was putting his hair in a pony tail and using hair clips to hold the short stuff back...but he will go rub his face on a pillow until he pulls all the short hairs out. I started french braiding his hair a few days ago because the pony tail holder left a red spot on top of his head. He doesn't like the braid either.

I am going to pick up some distilled water today to see if it helps!!

Has anyone tried any of the tear stain pills...wanna say angel eyes?!?
Try the Gerber (baby water) PURE mixing water. They sell it @ walmart in the baby section.0001500014000_500X500.jpg This water worked great for Mimi & Turbo, their eye goobers disappeared. Now they're back to drinking reg bottled water & their eye goobers hasn't come back...yet.
I would avoid angel eyes since it has tylan/ antibiotic in it. Once you stop it, the eye staining/ red yeast comes back.
