Toki is a little over 2 years old and 8 pounds just like your pup. She gets a little less than 1/4 cup of kibble at a meal or if I mix it with wet food, she'll get a couple tablespoons of kibble with a couple heaping tablespoons of wet food so it's pretty similar to what you are feeding Jasmin. For Toki's activity level, this is what we have found to be the right amount of food for her to maintain her weight. I guess if she was acting starved after meals, I'd supplement with frozen green beans, steamed butternut squash or something similar. My other pup Teddy is about a year old and a little over 9 pounds. He gets a little more than 1/2 cup of kibble each day and is maintaining his weight perfectly.

If your pup's body condition, weight, and energy level are good and she doesn't have a protruding spine and hips, I wouldn't be so concerned about underfeeding. If I kept feeding Toki more food or increasing her portions because she was acting "hungry" or licking her bowl after meals, she would eat so much that she'd pop and would definitely be overweight which would put stress on her joints. We are so careful about her weight because of knee/hip issues. I'd definitely look into adding things like steamed or frozen veggies. The volume and fiber will help your pup feel fuller for minimal calories.
