This is the time of month dogs start disappearing in Pendleton County. The animal control officer tells Local 12, since September he has had about two dozen reports of missing dogs, most come in mid-month. Reports are from all over the county, and it's unclear how many dogs have been stolen. In a few cases, residents have seen a white van in their neighborhood. They say the van has no windows, and a sign on the side that says patrol.
