It's true, it irritates the skin underneath & when the eye boogers come off, it will be red & raw underneath. Some people just don't do it (like my aunt)...IDK why.
I mean, don't we all wash our face every day? Why not clean your dog's eye boogers everyday, if they have it & brush their teeth every night too.
