I've knitted hats in the past, but I don't have a pattern, I just make it up as I go, depending on the yarn & needle size I'm using. I usually take it apart a time or two a few rows in before I get the sizing quite right.

I LOVE this - especially the hat. Do you have a pattern for the hat?
