I too have brought Bailey to work with me since the day I got him, Not only does it help US, it has helped him so much, to socialize him. Also people come in and out, and has taught him to NOT run out of the door.
It is great for our customers, immediately it starts conversation, and a warm and friendly enviroment.
I can understand about " bringing your bestfriend to worK" He gets so excited in the morning,, and on Monday mornings he is Crazy to get here!! I think he gets tired of Just me all weekend, we live alone, so coming to work is great for him, all my coworkers greet him, and there are certain people that bring him treats and special visitors that he has really taken to ,,, uniform guy, mailman,, ups guy, are just a few!
The only problem I have is the "few" nondog people,, and why is it, those are the people the dog will NOT leave alone,, He ends up jumping in THEIR LAPS,, so I then have to get the leash and keep him by my side! I think he senses their dislike, and wants to change their minds!
Yes, I thank my boss often for letting me bring my Bailey Boy to work!
