For both of our Yorkies, we made up a list of names and narrowed it down as we got to know each pup. "Keegan Riley" just seemed to fit our boy--his litter-mate belongs to my mom and was already named "Dorris Jean", so he needed a middle name, too.
Our new baby was so quiet the first few days...but when she finally "piped up" she probably could be heard for blocks. Thus, Piper. We added a personality-based first name later and she is now our "Merry Piper." |
