eensor, Sophia mats pretty easily...I too noticed this pretty late and she was really matted. The groomer let me have it!
Anyhow, now I am trying to be more diligent in her grooming. I left her shirt on her for a few days because I was gone so much, and she completely matted underneath!! It was a mess. So, now I make sure and take it off several time a day and comb her out. I know Sophia thinks I am a mad woman when I brush her....I can tell she wonders what possessed me to be so "mean".
Oh well, she will have to get used to it....and stop biting the brush!!!
