Gizmo came from the movie Gremlins since Yorkies have that similar look to the gremlins, before water touches them of course, we went with that. Well Gizmo is a super ball of energy and always causing lots of mischief and getting into everything that he shouldn't so he lives up to the Gizmo name.
Cici was adopted at 3 months and was already named so we didn't pick that one.
