Sorry to hear about the fleas!!! My Bailey just went through this. After some time of him scratching, flea medication, flea bath and changing foods, he was still scratching and there were no apparent fleas left. I then took him to the vet. I was told that he was still scratching because by now it was an irritation. Then Bailey was given an anti-histamine shot and the scratching stopped pretty much immediately. YAY!! I was so relieved to see this, as it was tough watching him scratch and scratch and scratch. Bailey had some bald spots due to all the scratching, which happened over time so it wasn't noticeable at first. The hair is growing back All the best with your precious one.
