So long story short, last week my fiancee and I went out of town and there were no dogs allowed so Ellie stayed with my parents and Lilly Anne stayed with his. The reason for this is my parents will only let Ellie stay since she is house trained and Lilly Ann isn't quite yet. Well yesterday we went and got them both and I noticed Lilly Anne scratching. Turns out she has fleas all over here from his parents dog. They get flea medicine every month, but I guess hers had just worn off because they are scheduled to get their new medicine next week. I bathed her with Dawn and flea stuff and got them all off, but she has sores all on her from where she has scratched and bit at the fleas all week. I feel horrible for her, even though it wasnt' something I knew that their dog had. Needless to say she wont be staying there ever again, but is there anything I can put on the sores to make them better? Or should she be looked at by the vet?
