All four of my girls were spayed after their first heat cycle, as this was advised by my vet. Different vets have different opinions as to when to do it, but I trusted him.
So, going through one heat is not the end of the world, and may have certain benefits. Just make sure she doesn't get pregnant, and all will be ok. |
